Final books shipping this week

The last batch of books we needed to fulfill orders are arriving tomorrow, so I've prepared all the signed prints, mailing labels and shipping envelopes in preparation. All that's left is to slide books into the packs and drop them off. Once I've got them dropped off, you'll get an email from BackerKit with the tracking info.

I so appreciate your patience while we got all the orders filled, with one setback and another. 

All the outstanding orders should have a tracking number by this Wednesday at the latest. I'll be double-checking the reward list and making sure everyone's gotten everything they need. If you haven't gotten everything and don't get a tracking number in your inbox, please let me know and I'll get it sorted. 

Marginalized Tattoo Signing

Halloween might be behind us, but we’re spooky even for the holidays! On Thursday, December 12th, from 3-9pm, Theater of Terror: Revenge of the Queers will be haunting Dave Davenport’s Marginalized Tattoo shop. Local Los Angeles Theater of Terror creators Brad Rader, Steve MacIsaac, Sean Platter, A.C. Esguerra, Max Spragovsky, Dave Davenport and co-editor William O. Tyler will be on hand throughout the evening to sign books and will have other goodies available as well. Bring your copy of Theater of Terror to get it signed, and/or pick up a copy there!

All shirts, shower curtains, and original art shipped

Hi there,

Thanks for your patience while we wrap up the project. Yesterday and this morning, I packed up all of the remaining shower curtains and shirts and am dropping them off at the post office today. I've emailed everyone who's getting one of these directly, with a tracking number.

Also, the original art has been shipped to you by the artist, and should have arrived by now. If you haven't gotten it yet, let me know and I'll track it down.

As for the final 100 books; I'm waiting on the final signed print (which is in transit) as well as a shipment of enough books to cover the remaining orders.

Once those packages are packed up, the tracking numbers for those will go out as well.

Thanks again for your support of the project, and for your patience while we wrap everything up. I'm excited for you to get the book and we hope you love it as much as we do.

It's been slower going than I hoped, but over 200 rewards have been fulfilled so far. Unfortunately, the printer completed the paperback editions earlier than your hardcovers, and sent them to distribution, so I apologize if you've seen them at a local shop and wondered what was up. 

I'm waiting on signed prints to come back to me, and then I can put together the packages that include those.

I'm going to be including a little extra something in your packs as a way to say thank you for your patience.

Thanks, everyone, for your patience while we completed the book and got them from the printer! The first batch of shirts have arrived and look great, and the hardcover books are arriving this week. If you haven't completed your BackerKit survey with your address, please do so quickly, so we can get your book out to you as soon as we have them. (If you're having trouble completing the survey or need another link sent to you, contact me and I'll help.)

The books will be finished in about ten days, and here in Seattle by the end of the month!

I've just approved one proof for the shirts, and am waiting on the second.

It won't be long, now, you lovely backers!
